We are seeking a dynamic Learning and Development Specialist, Logistics to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders understand how to effectively utilize Locus Robotics technology. You will develop and deliver training programs tailored to diverse audiences, including associates, supervisors, and shift leaders, as well as internal staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3PL, supply chain operations, or industrial engineering, with experience creating and presenting training content in a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on Locus Robotics software and robots.
- Identify initial and ongoing training needs for diverse external audiences (i.e., end users, supervisors, shift leaders at a warehouse).
- Customize training content based on audience needs, ensuring complex technical concepts are presented in an accessible manner.
- Build upon engineering-created collateral to create impactful, easy-to-understand training for less technical audiences.
- Deliver training to meet global business needs, including in-person, virtual (synchronous and asynchronous), and hybrid models.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand operational workflows and customer needs, refining training programs accordingly.
- Travel up to 50% to customer sites and corporate locations to deliver in-person training sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a training or operations role within a 3PL, supply chain, or industrial setting.
- Proven experience developing and delivering accessible skill-building training and certifications for internal and external users with diverse learning needs.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, warehouse management, and logistics processes.
- Demonstrable ability to develop, deliver, and evaluate in-person and on-demand technically-oriented training. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to adjust messaging based on the audience.
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint and training development tools such as Articulate 360 and video editors.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience with domestic and international travel for business needs, with the ability to travel up to 50% to customer sites and corporate locations
