Purpose:
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the execution of complex projects across Kueski Studio. In this role, you will create and streamline workflows, implement best practices, and ensure that teams stay aligned and on target to meet deadlines, whether it is delivering assets for internal stakeholders or collaborating closely with the vendors in our roster in order to let over 100M people in Mexico know about Kueski and its financial inclusion mission.
This role requires a mix of hands-on project management experience, strong project management skills, the ability to organize work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment, proficiency with work-management tools to help guide our talented team towards success, and working closely with the team leadership to drive initiatives from start to finish.
Key responsabilities
- Process Implementation: develop and enforce project management best practices, including the use of methodologies and tools (i.e. Monday, ClickUp, Airtable, Jira) to optimize task tracking, team collaboration and forecasting what the team needs will be 2-3 months ahead of schedule.
- Creation of SLAs to collaborate efficiently with our internal stakeholders and their requests.
- Project Planning and Execution: define project scope, goals, deliverables and timelines in collaboration with key stakeholders. Management of resources, track progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Task and Workflow Management: Use Project Management software to create task boards, assign responsibilities and monitor the completion of tasks.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Ensure clear communication and expectations between departments to align goals, define priorities and maintain focus.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and roadblocks early and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Reporting: Provide regular project status updates to leadership, outlining progress, issues and recommendations.
- Training: Align the whole company in the use of best practices to collaborate with Kueski Creative Studio
Position Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in fintech or a tech-driven startup, for impactful creative teams
- Proficient in using project management tools like Monday.com, ClickUp, Airtable or similar platforms to organize and track projects.
- This role is for Kueski design team, experience in design-related roles is required.
- Demonstrated leadership within creative and design project management at both team and organizational levels.
- Ability to lead and remotely collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in the fast-paced environment of a new team inside a big, fast startup.
- Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
- Leadership skills to hold teams accountable for deadline and deliverables.
- Excellent organization skills with high attention to detail.
- Negotiation skills to manage stakeholders’ expectations and the workload for the team
