Your Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Associate with a strong experience in process improvement to join our dynamic finance team. The Finance Associate will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and process improvement projects, ensuring the efficient execution of financial initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects that scale business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting and annual financial statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Support the finance team in developing budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide insights on the financial metrics.

  • Manage accounts receivables and payables. Process invoices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely payments. Handle customer billing and collections as needed.

  • Ensure all financial practices comply with legal requirements and company policies. Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings as necessary.

  • Managed banking operations to explore new product/service offerings to support our business operations, managed bank compliance queries, and oversaw the onboarding and KYC process.

  • Help maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure the integrity of financial records.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights

  • Build and scale the finance operations to support the projected growth in our ecosystems, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and enhancing controls

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting field.

  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within the fintech or crypto sector.

  • Skills:

    • Advanced Proficiency in managing data sets with Excel or Google sheet

    • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

    • Adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

    • Strong organizational and time management skills.

    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
