Position Description:
The Payroll Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting intelligent, financially sound compliance and reporting for our payroll functions. The right person for this role is a systems thinker with a passion for developing and maintaining simple and sustainable processes and enjoys translating data into insights efficiently and effectively. This highly visible role offers career opportunities and progression in a high-growth environment, as well as exposure to key leaders in the organization. This position will work closely with the Sr. Payroll Manager and Sr. Director of Shared Services providing payroll oversight and compliance as we execute strategic growth initiatives. This is a player/ coach role, overseeing 2 payroll administrators.

What We’re Looking For:
Entrees (Requirements):
- Experience using ADP Workforce Now or other enterprise level payroll software
- Minimum 6 years of experience in payroll systems and analysis
- 1+ year of Supervisor or Team Lead experience
- Strong report building skills utilizing payroll software and excel
- Team management and development experience
- Process design and documentation
- Deep knowledge of state and federal payroll and tax regulations
- Must possess strong finance skills, analytical problem-solving ability, and solid business acumen
- Familiarity with payroll compliance reporting such as but not limited to 5500, 401K & Match, workers comp
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across organizations and functions while utilizing resources effectively
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and handle simultaneous assignments under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of routine payroll processes
- Develop team of two on payroll best practices
- Ensure payroll process documentation is maintained
- Ensure routine payroll SOX controls are completed timely
- Prepare various compliance report workbooks for review by Sr. Payroll Manager
- Drive completion of state tax registration maintenance
- Participate in payroll processing as needed
- Support documentation of payroll processes
- Ad hoc analytics to support payroll related business analysis
- Project management support as we implement payroll efficiencies
- Support system maintenance, testing and improvement initiatives
- Works closely with employees and payroll administrators to resolve complex payroll matters

Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $80,000 USD per year commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and prior accomplishments. The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including a bonus, commission and/or equity, as applicable.
