We are seeking a File Clerk for a three-month, full-time, archival project. As a File Clerk, you will assist with organizing, renaming and archiving historical contracts.⯠This position involves reviewing documents, identifying key details, and properly organizing them for easy retrieval. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience in file management/archival, and the ability to handle a high volume of digital documents.â¯
As a File Clerk, you will:â¯
- Review contracts to identify key details, such as the parties and projects involved.
- Rename and categorize contracts for accurate filing and future retrieval.â¯
- Organize contracts into a clear filing structure in a shared drive.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in file naming and organization.â¯
To be considered for this role, we require the following:â¯
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.â¯
- Prior experience with file management and document organization or strong organization skills.â¯
- Comfortable working on Windows-based systems (PC).â¯â¯
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.â¯
Preference will be given to candidates who have:â¯
- Experience working in a similar file management, administrative or archival role.â¯
Itâll be a bonus if you also have:â¯
- Familiarity with contract documents or legal agreements.
Compensation:
USD $20-$25/hour
CAN $19-$24/hour
