About the job

We are looking for a passionate and results-driven K-12 Education Recruiter to join our client's growing team, focusing on staffing public schools across the U.S. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in hiring qualified substitute teachers and support staff while helping candidates through a comprehensive 30+ day hiring process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process: Guide candidates from initial outreach to placement, ensuring they meet the client’s staffing needs.
  • Engage with candidates: Utilize phone, SMS, and email to connect with warm leads generated by our growth marketing team. No cold sourcing required!
  • Screen and interview candidates: Evaluate candidates’ qualifications, experience, and fit for specific school roles through interviews and assessments.
  • Oversee the hiring process: Manage all stages of hiring, from initial screening to final placement in the classroom.
  • Meet goals: Achieve daily and monthly targets for outreach, candidate engagement, and successful hires.
  • Collaborate and innovate: Work with other recruiters and cross-functional teams to continuously improve recruitment processes, tools, and overall strategy.
  • Professional development: Participate in weekly training sessions, 1:1 meetings, and company-wide discussions to foster growth.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills: Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate and engage candidates across different channels.
  • Adaptability and quick thinking: Candidates will participate in a sales roleplay during both interviews, requiring them to think on their feet, integrate feedback, and refine their approach.
  • Coachability: Open to feedback and able to apply suggestions during the interview process, demonstrating an eagerness to learn and improve.
  • Organized and efficient: Strong time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills to handle a high volume of tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Relevant experience: Experience in non-scripted, high-volume call environments, preferably in sales, recruiting, or customer service roles.
  • Work Schedule: Must be able to work Monday - Friday, 8:45 AM - 5:30 PM Central Time.

System Requirements

  • At least 15mbps for the main internet and at least 10mbps for backup
  • A desktop or laptop that has an i5 processor with at least 8 GB RAM and an i3 processor for backup
  • Note: Back-ups should still be able to function when there is a power interruption
  • A webcam
  • Noise-canceling USB Headset
  • Quiet, Dedicated Home Office
  • Smartphone
