About the job

This role is responsible for designing inspiring and effective digital content that increases customer engagement, trial, cross-sell, and loyalty across Curology and Agency brands. This role will be a key partner on the Creative team to build content that drives our Email Marketing strategy across our brands, aimed at improving retention and loyalty.

This role will serve as a deep collaborative partner with our Lifecycle Marketing team, to ensure the brand creative vision is carried out through digital and email. This is a great opportunity to work on a consumer-driven, skincare brand and own driving content that touches our consumer across all points of their skincare journey.

  • Design conversion-focused email creative for various lifecycle marketing efforts, including campaign-based emails, evergreen and drip campaigns
  • Create digital content optimized to achieve key performance metrics, such as click-through and conversion rates
  • Review and interpret creative briefs, quickly translating to creative that aligns with the strategy, collaborating closely with the Director of Lifecycle and Senior Creative Director.
  • Develop original concepts with a fresh visual design approach, informed by current performance and market trends
  • Create strong visual design with nuanced understanding of Curology and Agency brands and the beauty/skincare landscape with on-brand graphics (layout, typography, composition)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a digital graphic designer in creative in-house environment
  • Knowledge and insight around design best practices within an email template (ie:  live text vs embedded design content)
  • Relevant industry experience in subscription, beauty, or DTC strongly preferred
  • Solid portfolio of work that displays your design chops, including an exceptional design sensibility (typography, layout, and prototyping) and experience designing for the entire consumer journey
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, and/or other relevant design tools
  • Added bonus if you have CSS and HTML experience!
  • Passionate Designer - obsessed with best practices and trends, with a keen understanding of how eye-catching visuals can strategically align with business objectives
  • Attention to detail, with a strong ability to organize graphic layouts based on messaging hierarchy 
  • Strong collaborator working closely with internal team members across design, product development, brand managers, marketing leads as well as external creative partners
  • Strong, concise communicator, especially in a remote environment

Salary Range: $80,000-$120,000
