Position Description

The Enterprise Systems Analyst (Finance)is responsible for analyzing and enhancing the financial systems at PrePass, ERP and all corresponding current and future integrations. You’ll collaborate with Operations, finance, accounting, and key departments to ensure these systems meet business needs, streamline processes, and improve data accuracy. By identifying gaps and inefficiencies, you’ll design solutions that drive automation, enhance financial reporting, and optimize operations.

This role involves gathering business requirements, managing system updates, and ensuring seamless integration across platforms to support critical finance functions like Payments, billing, collections, accounting, and forecasting. You will serve as a key link between finance teams and technical solutions, enabling data-driven improvements to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current finance system usage, identify gaps, and prioritize solutions for improved efficiency and automation.
  • Collaborate with Operations, finance and accounting teams to understand their needs and system dependencies, particularly for the vendor managed finance applications .
  • Define and document system requirements, aligning them with operational and business goals.
  • Assist in evaluating additional finance-related applications to enhance or replace existing systems.
  • Effectively gather feedback, define user stories, and translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues, provide root cause analysis, and recommend solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Coordinate system updates, patches, and upgrades, minimizing disruptions to operations.
  • Manage tickets submitted by the afore mentioned groups and prioritize bugs effectively.
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are implemented correctly, assisting with configuration and testing as needed.
  • Manage project timelines, sprints, or Kanban boards for finance system initiatives.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including workflow charts, system specifications, and end-user guides, and support training efforts as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and listening skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with data analytics
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Business analysis skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
