About the Role

We’re looking for a Customer Solutions Consultant proficient in ERP solutions to help build one of the most elite customer organizations in enterprise tech.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the expert solution architect to enable customers to achieve their desired outcomes by leveraging the Tropic Platform
  • Work shoulder to shoulder with our Account Managers to upsell and retain existing customers by:
    • Joining our renewal & upsell process as Tropic’s in-house expert and strategic consultant
    • Understanding existing customers’ pain points and highlighting Tropic’s solutions
    • Resolving obstacles and challenges preventing customers from getting value from the Tropic platform
    • Communicating the benefits of new functionality and how it will solve existing pain points
    • Generating custom presentations and collateral
    • Sharing insights from Tropic’s robust dataset
    • Establishing trust with the client by representing Tropic as the future of Spend Management
  • Demonstrate competence, professionalism, executive presence, integrity, and humility
  • Enable Account Managers to have a deep understanding of Tropic Platform as it evolves
  • Collaborate well with the customer team
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset that constantly seeks to improve how we deliver outcomes with the Tropic platform
  • Provide a world-class customer experience at every touchpoint
  • Participate in and enhance Tropic’s company culture by being positive, kind, hard-working, and accepting of all employees

What You’ve Done

  • 3+ years experience in sales, sales strategy, customer success, consulting, or other customer/executive-facing roles, preferably within the financial sector
  • Proficiency in ERP solutions (specifically Netsuite, Quickbooks, & Sage Intacct)
  • Expertise in accounting systems and finance/procurement/accounting workflows 
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills
  • Solutions-selling and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to go the extra mile for every single customer and project 
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Excellent organization, time management, and project management skills
  • Ability to adapt and excel at a high-growth startup
  • Track record of high-performance
  • Passionate about helping customers

Compensation

Specific to pay transparency laws, the annual salary range for this position begins at $90,000 and will include variable pay, incentive stock options, and benefits. The final job level and compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, years of relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, geographic location, and other business considerations.
